IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute was jointly founded in 1966 by the Swedish state and national business interests to carry out research on industrial air and water issues. Today they are an environmental agency concentrating on much more. Common to all of their assignments is the interaction between ecological, economic and social perspectives.
With the transition to virtual events due to COVID-19, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute was able to increase attendance and engagement by targeting the right individuals with the right events. Not only did this help broaden their audience, but it also helped IVL truly live it's mission by reducing emissions due to travel, and eliminating any food waste that might have resulted from an in-person event.
